Defendant, James Glenn Thomas, was convicted of fourteen counts of illegal activities involving the alteration of motor vehicle identification numbers, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 511-12, 2321-22. The district court sentenced Thomas to 51 months on each count, such sentences to run concurrently. Thomas appeals his conviction and sentence on the grounds that the district court improperly admitted illegally seized evidence...
