The defendant appeals from the $80,000 judgment rendered against him after a jury trial. He claims that the trial court improperly (1) failed to set aside the verdict on the breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation and negligent misrepresentation counts, (2) failed to find that the jury verdict was excessive, (3) denied the defendant's motion for mistrial at the conclusion of the opening statements, and (4) charged the jury concerning evidence...
