After lengthy pre-trial proceedings, the district court entered summary judgment in favor of plaintiffs-appellees Howard B. Carroll and other shareholders ("the shareholders") of Sheldon Machine Co., Inc. ("Sheldon"), and against defendant-appellant Acme-Cleveland Corporation ("Acme"). The district court also imposed Rule 11 sanctions against Acme and its attorneys. Acme, and its attorneys, argue that the district court committed several errors...
