Plaintiff, Victoria Gorman, brought this medical malpractice action against defendants Shu-Fang Chen, M.D. (Dr. Chen), and Shu-Fang Chen, M.D., Ltd., an entity for which Dr. Chen was the sole stockholder and director, to recover damages occasioned by Dr. Chen's negligence in rendering medical care and treatment for injuries sustained by plaintiff in a bicycle accident.
