EDMONDS, Judge.

Plaintiff appeals a summary judgment in favor of defendants. ORCP 47 C. He argues that defendants breached an oral agreement to reinstate him to the rank of sergeant. We affirm.

Plaintiff was an Oregon State Police sergeant. In August, 1983, he delayed the processing of his stepson's traffic citation so that the stepson could enlist in the military. The incident was reported to Superintendent Williams, and disciplinary action was recommended...
