When Margaret N. Jepson (Mrs. Jepson) sought and was granted Social Security widow's insurance benefits, she was also receiving a pension resulting from her own past earnings as a federal government employee. When such a grant in the amount of $248 per month was initially approved, the Social Security Administration (Administration) did not deduct any amount from those widow's benefits because of that pension...
