Anthony H. Reed was charged by bill of information on June 11, 1990, with a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He pled not guilty at his arraignment on June 22, 1990. On July 27, 1990, at a hearing on the motions, the trial court found probable cause for the arrest of the defendant and denied the Motion to Suppress the Evidence. A twelve-member jury found the defendant guilty as charged at trial on October 24...
