Joe Hemphill and Winston McIntyre were each charged with six counts of murder, two counts of armed robbery, one count each of possession of cocaine, heroin and cannabis with intent to deliver and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. McIntyre moved for a severance. The trial court granted his severance motion and decided to try the cases simultaneously...
