WISDOM, Circuit Judge:

This case involves the interpretation and application of La.R.S. 23:631 and 632. La. R.S. 23:631 provides that upon the discharge or resignation of an employee it shall be the duty of the employer to pay within three days the amount then due under the terms of employment.1 La.R.S. 23:632 imposes penalties and attorney fees on an employer who fails to comply with the directives of La.R.S. 23:631.
