Russell Fann was charged by bill of information with distribution of cocaine. La. R.S. 40:967(A)(1). Following a bench trial he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to serve ten years at hard labor, with five years suspended and a thirty day delay in execution of the sentence. Defendant now appeals the conviction and sentence assigning as errors (1) the admission of the contraband into evidence without proof of proper chain of custody...
