BACA, Justice.

In 1986, appellant Alvin Smith successfully sued FDC Corporation receiving a judgment for $54,134.00 plus costs. That judgment was subsequently affirmed on appeal in Smith v. FDC Corp., 109 N.M. 514, 787 P.2d 433 (1990). In March of 1987, while the Smith suit was pending, FDC Corporation liquidated its corporate assets and ceased doing business. No formal dissolution...
