Following a bench trial, defendant, Herbert BoClair, was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, and aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 38, pars. 12-14(a)(2), 12-13(a)(2), 12-16(d)), and was sentenced to a maximum prison term of 30 years. On appeal, he has submitted pro se briefs in addition to the briefs filed by the State Appellate Defender.
