Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of reckless homicide (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 9-3(a)) and driving while under the influence of alcohol. (Ill.Rev. Stat.1989, ch. 95½, par. ll-501(a)(2).) He was sentenced to three and one-half years imprisonment for the reckless homicide conviction and a concurrent term of 364 days for the remaining conviction...
