The defendant, Barthold Zwart, was charged by information with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. (Ill. Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 12-14.) The defendant's victim, K.B. (hereafter victim), was three years old at the time of the alleged offense. Following a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County, the trial court found the defendant guilty and entered judgment on two counts of the information...
