The defendant was charged with committing drug offenses in Collier County which was in the Southern District of Florida at the time of the offense but had been transferred to the Middle District of Florida by the time of the indictment. The defendant contends that the Middle District lacked jurisdiction to indict and try him for the offense committed in Collier County, and that such action violated his rights under the Sixth Amendment...
