The defendant, Norvel R. McGreevey, was found guilty of assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, and two counts of armed criminal action, following a jury-waived trial. The judge then sentenced him to two concurrent ten-year terms for assault, and two concurrent three-year terms for armed criminal action.
