This is a medical malpractice case. Appellant, Esther Gonzales, sued appellee, L.B. Outlar, M.D., and South Texas Medical Clinics, P.A., for negligence and breach of professional duty by failing to take precautions to prevent or reduce her post-operative blood-clotting problems.
