The State appeals the grant of defendant's motion for a judgment of acquittal notwithstanding the verdict of the jury on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse. We reverse and remand.

Defendant was charged with one count each of forcible rape, § 566.030, RSMo 1986; forcible sodomy, § 566.060, RSMo 1986; and first-degree sexual abuse, § 566.100, RSMo 1986. He was found not guilty on the forcible rape and forcible sodomy...
