On May 4, 1987, plaintiff, eight-year-old Steven Craig Shull, injured his hand while swinging on a sliding gate of a fence surrounding defendant Harristown Township's storage yard. Plaintiff's father, John R. Shull, Sr., filed suit on behalf of his son, and individually, to recover damages allegedly incurred from the injury.
