Appellant, Gerald Johnson, was indicted for the offense of escape. See Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 38.07 (Vernon 1985). A jury convicted him and assessed punishment at forty years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. By two points of error, appellant complains that the trial court erred in holding the trial while he was in jail clothing, and that the evidence is insufficient to sustain...
