Robert Dugan, Sr., defendant, was charged by information with five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. (Ill. Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 12-16(c)(1)(i).) Thereafter, the grand jury returned a true bill on a seven-count indictment. Following a bench trial, defendant was convicted of six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and was sentenced to a term of seven years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals both...
