On May 22, 1986 the defendant was charged by bill of information with two counts of armed robbery. Following two mistrials, the defendant was found guilty as charged in count 1 on October 30, 1986. He was found guilty of first degree robbery in count 2 on November 10, 1986. A motion for new trial was denied on August 27, 1987 and the defendant was sentenced to ninety years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence for...
