Mary Carter agreements1 are at the center of this appeal involving 222 present and former homeowners in a subdivision adjacent to the site of a chemical plant. Prior to voir dire, the trial court informed the jury panel that the homeowners had dismissed claims they had asserted against the subdivision's homebuilders and against its developers, Farm & Home Savings Association and Ayrshire...
