This matter arises from a request by the United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island that this court waive certain provisions of the Rhode Island Rules of Professional Conduct with respect to federal prosecutors. By letter and accompanying materials dated August 2, 1991, the United States Attorney requested that members of the Rhode Island Bar who are federal prosecutors practicing law before federal courts be exempted...
