HORSEY, Justice:

Petitioner, Deputy Attorney General Charles E. Butler, while representing the State in a criminal trial in Superior Court, was summarily adjudged in criminal contempt of court "for insolence and failure to show proper respect to the Court," in violation of 11 Del.C. § 1271(1), a Class B misdemeanor. Butler was immediately sentenced to pay a fine of $100. Butler petitioned this Court to issue a writ of certiorari to review Superior Court...
