This action was filed on behalf of a minor child, Johnny Trujillo, who nearly drowned at the approximate age of sixteen months when he fell headfirst into an irrigation ditch filled with water. The ditch belonged to Brighton-North Point Irrigation Co., but was located on property owned by Val Jenkins, Nicea Jenkins, Gary Xanthos, and Leanna Coombs (collectively "the Jenkinses").
