OPINION ON REMAND

BURGESS, Justice.

The jury convicted William Robert Oliver of possession of a controlled substance, less than 28 grams of methamphetamine and more than 400 grams of phenylacetone, and assessed punishment at, respectively, twenty years' confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections1 and a $10,000 fine and ninety-nine years and a $100,000 fine.
