NYE, Chief Justice.

An indictment charged appellant, Todd Hines, with attempted murder. It alleged a prior felony conviction for enhancement purposes. He entered an open plea of guilty to the attempted murder charge, to which he pleaded true to the enhancement allegation. The trial court assessed punishment at ninety-nine years in prison.
