Appellant entered a plea of not guilty before a jury to the misdemeanor offense of theft of services of the value of $200.00 but less than $750.00. Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 31.04(a)(3), (e)(3). He was convicted of the lesser-included offense of theft of services of the value of $20.00 but less than $200.00 and the jury assessed punishment at confinement in the county jail for 180 days, plus a fine of $1,000.00.
