Christian Perez appeals from the final judgment entered in the District Court1 for the Eastern District of Missouri denying his 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas petition. For reversal, Perez argues his conviction for first degree assault for hitting Randy Jones in the head with a tire iron was not supported by substantial evidence. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm.
