Justice LUND delivered the opinion of the court:

On July 11, 1975, a decree of divorce was granted in the circuit court of Douglas County to Judith Brassard (now Wray) from defendant Richard Brassard. Custody of four minor children was awarded to Judith. Defendant was ordered to pay $60 per week as child support through the circuit clerk for the children, to begin July 21, 1975. After the entry of this decree, defendant moved to Arkansas; in 1980, he moved to Alabama...
