The plaintiffs, Norma Girard and Gilbert Girard, appeal a trial court judgment on a personal injury matter.

On November 21, 1987, at about 7 p.m., the plaintiff, Norma Girard, and a friend, Debbie, went to Bobby's Lounge in Broussard, La. They had already had about two beers during the day.
