Willie Williams III (defendant) was convicted after a jury trial of trafficking drugs in the second degree. § 195.223.3(2), RSMo Supp.1989. He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 17 years. Following sentencing, defendant filed a motion for post-conviction relief pursuant to Rule 29.15. That motion was denied after an evidentiary hearing.
