Defendant, Mackie Clark, was charged by Bill of Information with a violation of La.R.S. 40:971.1 in that he did knowingly and intentionally distribute a counterfeit substance held out to be cocaine. As part of a plea bargain, Clark entered a Crosby1 guilty plea to La.R.S. 40:971.1, pursuant to La.C.Cr.P. Art. 893. He was sentenced to two years at hard labor.
