Defendant Sandra DeBotello is charged in the superseding indictment with one count of knowingly transporting monetary instruments of more than $10,000 from Montreal, Canada to Chicago, Illinois, in violation of 31 U.S.C. §§ 5316(a)(1)(B) and 5322(a), and with one count of falsely representing that she was not transporting currency in excess of $10,000, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
