We are asked to review a judgment rendered in favor of appellee Earl Gifford in a disability-discrimination lawsuit against appellants City of Austin, Jim Everett, Raymond Sanders, and Freddie Maxwell. After trial to a jury, Gifford was awarded actual damages of approximately $74,000, prejudgment interest, and attorney's fees in the amount of $18,900.
