Ramon Pineda was charged in a three count grand jury indictment with: 1) possessing heroin with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(C); 2) using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c); and 3) being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5).
