COPE, Judge.

Armando Hierro appeals his convictions and sentences for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools, petit theft, and resisting an officer without violence. We reverse.

First, the trial court erred by allowing the State to ask the defendant specifically what offenses he had previously been convicted of. We find that the defendant had not opened the door to such an inquiry by the State, and that the defendant's objections to such questions...
