After having been adjudicated as a third-felony offender and sentenced to 25 years at hard labor following his conviction by a jury of distribution of cocaine, Reginald Tyler appeals his conviction. In six assignments which arise out of his borderline mentality as a chronic paranoid schizophrenic, he contends that his conviction and adjudication should be reversed because he was not competent to proceed in either case or to waive his presence...
