Dommie Ray Polotzola filed suit under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (F.E.L.A., 45 U.S.C. § 51 et seq.) against the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads, seeking damages for injuries sustained during a work-related accident.
