COVINGTON, Judge.

The appellant, Joseph Lee, was tried by jury on charges of first degree murder, § 565.020, RSMo 1986, first degree robbery, § 569.020, RSMo 1986, and two counts of armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1986. The jury returned a verdict of guilty on the robbery charge and not guilty on the charges of murder and armed criminal action. The trial court sentenced appellant as a prior offender to thirty years.
