On October 30, 1990, the Chancery Court of Copiah County, Mississippi, Chancellor Michael L. Carr, Jr, presiding, granted J.B. Lewis a divorce from his wife, Mary, "on the grounds alleged in his complaint" and granted Mary Lewis a divorce from J.B. Lewis "on the grounds alleged in her cross-complaint."
