Defendant challenges the execution of a previously imposed sentence for contempt. In 1987, he was ordered to show cause why he should not be held in contempt for failure to pay child support arrearages. He appeared without counsel. He was found to be in contempt and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. The sentence was not executed.
