Defendants-appellants Norman Johnson, David Blaylock, and Robert McBride, correctional officers at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, appeal the judgment of the district court awarding a total of $3,000 in actual damages, $25,000 in punitive damages and $1,406.25 in attorney's fees to Alfred Flowers, an inmate, as a result of injuries sustained by Flowers in a beating by the defendants.
