Troy Quentin Stein was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in violation of La.R.S. 14:32.1, by bill of indictment. He entered a plea of no contest to both counts on October 31, 1991. A presentence investigation was ordered. On January 9, 1992 the defendant was sentenced to serve four and one-half years at hard labor, to run concurrently, with credit for time served.
