The plaintiff, Leonard Stone, filed a claim for unemployment benefits with the Department of Employment Security (the Department) after he was discharged from his job. A claims adjudicator concluded that plaintiff was discharged for misconduct (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 48, par. 432) and thus was ineligible for benefits.
