In 1985, this Court affirmed David Randolph Gray's conviction of capital murder and sentence of death imposed for the June 3, 1982, kidnap and murder of Gulfport resident Ronald Wojcik. Gray v. State, 472 So.2d 409 (Miss. 1985). On appeal, the United States Supreme Court reversed the sentence of death and remanded for new sentencing. Gray v. Mississippi,
