In this mandamus proceeding we decide that plaintiffs (the Rains) may settle their claims against one concurrent tortfeasor by taking as part of the settlement an assignment of that tortfeasor's American Motorcycle1 claim for equitable indemnity against other concurrent tortfeasors.
