This case came before the court for oral argument on February 10, 1992, pursuant to an order directing the plaintiff, Gerard D. Jones (Jones), to show cause why his appeal should not be summarily denied and dismissed. Jones appeals from a Superior Court verdict entered on behalf of the defendant, Cranston police officer Raymond Wilbur, Jr. (Wilbur).
