Delores Miller, a fifty-five-year-old former receptionist, applied for Social Security disability benefits provided by 42 U.S.C. § 423 (1988), in 1987, claiming disabling neck, back and leg pains. The Secretary and the district court have rejected Miller's claim finding her allegations of disabling pain not credible and unsupported by objective medical evidence.
